Key Responsibilities

The following areas of focus will be central to your role in this position:

• Provide support to students with special needs to help them achieve their fullest potential.
• Communicate with teachers, parents, and carers to ensure that students receive the best possible support.
• Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in consultation with teachers and parents.
• Monitor students' progress and keep accurate records.
• Provide one-to-one and small group tuition, as required.
• Support students in mainstream classes, as required.
• Attend meetings, as required.
• Undertake training, as required.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following attributes:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Previous experience working with children with special needs
• Patience and a positive attitude
